Stereopod  are a Scottish instrumental studio based duo who grew up together,
loathing mediocrity. They are inspired by a love of guitars and synths,
and the focus of melody in music.Influences primarily include
Mogwai,  John Carpenter,  Boards of Canada,  Alessandro Cortini, James
Holden, and Vessels to name a few.  Ideally thier music is aimed at
perhaps capturing the attention of film makers, its sound tracky and
that was our plan when they began, hence the name of the album “Cinematopoeia”.
