THE JUNTA RETURNS WITH “NETWORK”

Salford’s electronica maestro The Junta returns on August 10th with a brand new album “Network” with lots of special guests. As well as his recording debut on vocals on one of his own songs “All Roads”, The Junta has brought in friends Loop-aznavour on the wonderfully quirky “Welcome to my village”, Aidan Cross (The Bacillus, Weimar) on the darkly gothic “Ghost In The Machine” , and fellow Salford City Radio DJ Stephen Doyle on “They All Lead To”.

Along with the usual hi tempo Junta dance workouts there are also some slower more evocative pieces creating a marvellous collection of songs which demonstrate considerable progress since his debut album “Art Of Glass” and a subsequent run of EPs and Singles.

The video for the song All Roads can be found here

The Junta launches the album at a free gig at the Peer Hat, Manchester on August 17th with special guests Loop-aznavour and Poet & The Loops. The Junta will be joined on stage for his set by Ian Moss, Aidan Cross and Loop-aznavour.

NEW SINGLE FROM LOOP-AZNAVOUR

Also on August 10th we welcome back to the weird and wacky world of Theremin master Loop-aznavour with his special brand of Electronic Punk. The frontman of the highly respected Adventures of Salvador returns in solo mode with a two-track single including the dark “Requiem For A Mouse” and the high-tempo attack of “Snivelling Shit”. Loop’s caustic wit and punk attack make him one of the must-see artists on the Greater Manchester scene. His next gig is at the aforementioned Junta album launch at the Peer Hat on August 17th
