Perhaps aptly for a gig taking place on Friday the 13th, Weimar have unfortunately been beset by a run of bad luck in relation to this weeks scheduled gig at The Railway West Didsbury.
Due to Eddy being unable to perform on the night, they had previously secured a reserve drummer to fill in for him at this gig, but sadly due to unforeseen circumstances the reserve is now himself unable to do the show.
Weimar do not want to let fans down by cancelling at short notice, so they will still be appearing at this gig and will now be performing an acoustic set as a three-piece (Aidan, John and Ste).
They have passed the headline slot over to Square Wild, and will now play earlier in the evening, doing an acoustic set of stripped-back reworkings of a selection of their songs. In the meantime, JCK and The Rogue Network will still be appearing on the bill.
Sometimes, unfortunately bad luck can not be prevented, but they have worked around this situation as best as they can and hope to be able to offer something refreshingly different with their acoustic performance this Friday.
We hope to see you there and will be posting stage times as soon as they are available.
