in late 2012/early 2013 Neil was in two bands, but the songs/ideas he was writing didn’t really fit either band, so he decided to start his own band. One of those bands also featured Graeme Clarke (bass) , who was also writing a lot of material that didn’t fit his current band. These ‘ideas’ became the first batch of BoDC songs, a lot of which ended up on their debut EP ‘Together We Fall’ (released Nov 2013). Neil and Antoinette met through work a few years prior to all this, but Neil didn’t know she was a singer until he mentioned that he was starting a band. The three then set out to find a drummer, and eventually found Andrew Coxall via an online ad in October 2013. Andrew emigrated to Australia in 2016 to be replaced by Craig Conkie. Andrew returned in 2017 and rejoined the band.

The Band recorded their debut album ‘Of The Night’ at the Parlour Recording Studio (Evil Scarecrow, Napalm Death, Evile) in Kettering, and it  was released by us in 2015. The album was preceded by their debut (double A-side) Single ‘Don’t Panic / Just A Little More’. The band released a series of singles following the album. Following Andrew’s return the band embarked on new recordings resulting in the single “Bunched Up Bradley”, and the second album “Motus Octo”.

Graeme left the band in 2019 to be replaced by Karen Gadd.

The first release with Karen Gadd, “Left To Rot” came out on 25th October 2019 .
