STAGGS RETURN AND THEY HAVE ANGER ISSUES

Those fun frolicking STAGGS are back with a brand new single – ‘(Banned from) Anger Management’ and ‘Ner Ner Ner Ner Ner’ form the duo of in your face explosions of ire that make up “Staggs Cock Snooks”.  We always want more from Ridley and Scott but they are both very busy doing other things. The usual STAGGS tropes are in play, with tongues firmly in cheeks. The most English of bands they distill the spirit of eccentric and regional into tidy little nuggets of sound.

In a Bubble with Boz

Boz Hayward has released another video to compliment the Tennessee Ten album. The wonderfully quirky “My Little Bubble” is now available, shot in New York, City and state, the  ‘lounge jazz’ track from the Tennessee Ten  features Rick Burrows on trumpet, and is described as a diy lo-no-fi Bert Weill Productions video.

November 1st also sees a live performance of the whole of Tennessee Ten at The Eagle Inn, Salford.  One Sided Horse and Misharlo support (details below).

Sjhaking all over

13th October sees the release of a new three track EP “Sjhake” by Cambridge self styled purveyors swirling keyboard-fuelled psychpop with horror-show freak-beat guitars and new wave post-punk bass-lines.

Lead track Sjhake previously featured on the bands second album “Haunted Mirror”, second track “Glossy Magazines” was featured on a German Shepherd compilation and the third track “Electric Line Terminus” is a new release.

PrunX release video for Iron Dream

In anticipation of the release of new EP “Mind Trajectory” in November PrunX have released a video for the track “Iron Dream” which appeared on their Vol. III release. With stunning and stark imagery the video captures the spirit of Norman Spinrad’s alternative history novel which inspired the track.

Watch this space for news about the new EP, until then enjoy the video
